Exploring Bridgeport

Once Jackie left on Monday morning for school, I made breakfast for
the little ones.

Later that morning, I went up to the learning room
to clean out potty chairs and give bottles to the toddlers.

Taking care of four toddlers is, of course, very difficult.
But I always am grateful of the challenge, even through
screaming babies and stinky potty chairs!
Seana and Riley playing with dolls, how adorable!

"Mom, you should go out for a little while, you seem a little
stressed. I'll take care of the kids." Jackie said as
she Taught Apple How to Talk.
Jackie and Apple are hardly inseparable,
they love each other more than any of my children love their siblings.
Jackie wants to be what Sarah was to her. She wants to be
Apple's role model.

I took Jackie's advice and decided to get out that night.
I slipped on my silvery green dress and pulled back my hair.
I was pretty thrilled when I got to the 'Prosper Room.'
I had never been in an elevator before, let alone a high rise building.
I pushed the button labeled "Level 21" and the doors slid closed with a ding.

Once I reached the top floor, I was immediately overwhelmed
with sights, smells, and Sims I have never encountered before.
Light smoke drifted down from the second story which smelt
faintly of Cotton Candy. I later learned that it was a "Bubble Bar."
I also met two types of Sims I have never encountered before in
my entire life, a bouncer and a vampire.
I was already a 4 star celebrity since I did a meet and greet with my
children around the neighborhood (which is full of celebrities). The bouncer
let me in with a slight nod, and I walked by briskly, trying not
to make eye contact with the muscular vampire in the lobby.
I couldn't help but sneak a peek at the vampire, who, I could have
sworn, had a little smirk on his face.

"One 'Starry Sea' please," I asked the busty mixologist
(also known as a Bartender), Margherita Savoy
as I sat down at the bar.
"Sure Hun, coming right up!"

I watched in awe as she flipped and threw the bottles into
the air and caught them behind her back without even glancing
away from the glass in her left hand. Flames leaped from the glass
as she tossed a wild looking match across the top of the
alcohol. I was stunned and decided I would have to
buy myself a bar as soon as possible to practice this
appealing skill.

And as if the flames weren't enough, Margherita whipped
out a blow torch and lit a sparkler in the glass to create an
amazing firework effect.

I took my first sip of the drink and my senses tingled.
I knew alcohol would be bad for my babies in the challenge,
so I knew I could not lose control of my drinking experience.
My first night out in Bridgeport was one that I would never forget.

"Mom?" Jackie caught me outside before the school bus
showed up.
"Yeah, Jackie?" I asked curiously.
"Well I wanted to know.... I mean do you think that....
It's just that.... Ugh..." She sighed letting her shoulders drop.
"What is it, Love?" I smiled softly.
"I was wondering if I could go on a date tonight."
She spoke so fast it took me a few seconds to register
what she had asked.
"Oh!" I finally breathed, "Well of course you can, is this
boy someone you are dating?"
"No, but Kenera totally thinks that he's into me, and she knows
like.... everything about boys, basically."
I laughed and gave her my blessing to date as long as she
promised to bring this mystery boy around her crazy family.
She laughed and crossed her heart, then gave me a big hug goodbye
and skipped onto the bus.

I filled out the information
on the bills once the bus pulled around the corner and
placed them back in the mailbox. Since we arrived in
Bridgeport I have had to start paying them again,
which isn't that much of a problem
right now thanks to my huge garden.
With some left over money I bought
3 birthday cakes....

It's the triplets' birthday!

Seana Jones. (Her eyes really don't look like
that, I took the picture when she was blinking!)

Kale Jones.

Riley Jones.

Once Jakie got home from her date,
we soaked in the hot tub for about an hour after
Apple was put to bed and the kids went outside to play.

Jackie asked a lot of questions about the 100 Baby Challenge
and all the hard work I put into making my children's lives
as good as possible. She applauded me and said
she wants to have a good husband and a bunch
of little kids running around her house when she grows up.
Seana enjoying the Bridgeport views from her lookout tower.

The next evening I went to go complete an opportunity
(which also helps to pay the bills) and I thought it
would be nice to bring home a bug for Riley since
he is quite interested in all things like that. But the
bugs slipped out of my had and I had to do a
funky little dance to get them off of me!
I was genuinely creeped out!
I wanted to go baby daddy scouting, so I walked into
a high rise building near by. Apparently, I was
being recognized!!
I went and soaked in the hot tub for a bit but decided
it wasn't the same by myself, so I bought some drinks
for a cute guy at the bar. I wasn't very into him though,
I figured I have been ready for every other father, he just
didn't seem right for the challenge, at least, not yet.
I was asked for my first autograph by a nice young man outside
of the high rise I was in.
"Kira Jones?! The Kira Jones?! Can I have your autograph?! I love
your challenge!"
I laughed at his enthusiastic nature and signed the napkin
he handed me.
"Hey Mom! Watch this!" The always competitive Kale and
Riley had a flipping and jumping contest on the
trampoline that lovely
Saturday morning.

"MA! There's someone at the gate!" Kale announced in
mid-flight. I glanced out the window to see a slightly fimilar man
standing in the front yard.
"Hello," the man said in a husky voice, "I'm Beau Merrick,
you passed by me at the bar the other night."
"Oh! You're the vampire!" I blurted out stupidly and blushed,
"I mean, I remember you were smiling at me.... At least I think
you were smiling at me. Maybe I'm just going crazy." I rambled on.
"No, you're not crazy. I was smiling at you, I recognized you from
the paper. I'm part of the 'Vampire's Welcoming Commitee'. It's
like an organization to help regular Sims feel less threatened by
us. "We promise, we don't bite" is sort of our unofficial motto."
He continued as I smiled at his light-on-his-feet personality.
Not at all what I expected from a vampire.
"Look, I hope you don't mind me asking, but can we go
inside?" I looked up at him in surprise at the request.
"Not in a creepy, 'I want to stalk you and drink your
blood' kind of way, it's just really freakin' hot out here."
He said quickly after examining my face.
"Oh! Sure, sure. Please come in, I'm sorry I should
have realized that the sun is a bit of a problem for you."
We chatted in the entry way for quite a while, and I
really began to like the guy. He was charming, but
not in an overly sappy sort of way. He also spoke his mind,
but polietly, of course.
The time finally came to were I brought up the 100 Baby Challenge,
and he asked if I would freak out if he told me he wanted
to be part of the challenge. He knew the rules (of course),
and said he hoped his vampirism wouldn't stop me from
choosing him to be the father of baby #12.
"Absolutly not. I don't mind that you're a vampire so much anymore.
I have to admit I was kind of nervous when we moved here, but I think
your little Welcoming Comittee is a good ice-breaker." I laughed and
flirted as he smiled at me.
"Well then let's do this!" He joked as he caressed my hands
with his gentle, stone cold fingers.

I led him upstairs to my room and lullaby chimes went off
the first time.
My 100 Baby Challenge in Bridgeport had finally begun!
